Feedback on Products!

I've decided tonight is a good, relaxed night to do some work on product feedback. Tonight I will probably focus on Arbonne products, though I may stray into some of the freebies I've received this month in a later post. Just so you know, all views expressed in this or any of my blog posts are exclusively my own or those of my clients, and of course may not reflect the opinions/views of Arbonne International or its consultants. With that being said, let's dig in!

RE9 Firming Body Cream
Alright, so the first product I think needs special note is the RE9 Firming Body Cream. I first picked up this product because I was told it was good for fading stretch marks (I got it as a freebie- Arbonne allows you to pick a free product after you reach a certain retail volume, and I picked this. $68 product for free, can't beat it!) It definitely helps with stretch marks. The only ones I've had issues with are the truly deep marks, and even those have faded a bit. It was after I already had the product in the house that I read another customer's feedback, and she said that it also helped with sunburns. It made sense since it helps renew cells, so I gave it a shot when my husband had a nasty sunburn. His skin lightened, and he never peeled! We were so impressed that when a couple of family friends came over with lobster-colored skin, we did not hesitate to recommend it to them. They tried it, and BOTH tanned out! Another good piece of feedback I have for this product is its scent. It has a very mild citrus scent that is pleasant, and can go with just about anything you wear. The only thing I find to be a setback with this product is the price. $68 is a little steep. But, when you take in to account how long the product lasts (I've had it three months and have barely made a dent in it) and the 20% Preferred Client discount that ANY Arbonne client is eligible for which lowers it to $46.40 (The 35% Consultant discount lowers it to $36.20) for the results you receive, it is well worth the money. A definite 10 for 10 in my book!

ABC Herbal Diaper Rash Cream
The next product that I think deserves a notable mention is the ABC Herbal Diaper Rash Cream. This was actually the first product I ordered from Arbonne. I picked it up because I have two kids in diapers who both have VERY sensitive skin, and I wasn't at all satisfied with the results I was getting from other diaper rash ointments. The majority of them did not seem to make a difference, and many of them were difficult to wipe off at diaper time, causing me to have to scrub at already raw skin and make it a traumatizing experience for my little ones. Like with the Firming Body Cream, I was impressed. The first thing I did when it came in was open it out and test the product on my own skin. The first thing I noticed was the scent. It had the same refreshing, almost fruity scent that I've since come to connect with Arbonne products. The next thing I noticed was the texture. It wasn't greasy or runny. The closest description for it would be like lotion. Also it was easy to spread and was still breathable! When I went to wash my hand, it came right off with very little effort. I was very impressed, but it was time for the moment of truth. When I used it on my son's diaper rash, I had to wait a full MONTH before I could test it again. After one application, the rash was gone! I have yet to meet a rash that takes more than two applications to treat! I will NEVER use anything else again. It is a definite must-have for any mommy, and a great idea for a baby shower gift! The book price for it is $14, but the PC discount lowers it to $11.20

Aromassentials Unwind Shower Gel
So we've talked about relieving baby, but what about Mommy? There's no denying that we have a demanding job (Daddy's is no less so, don't get me wrong.) So at the end of a long day, a wind down is nearly essential. The Abonne Aromassentials Unwind Shower Gel was also in that first order I made. It has a light, chamomile scent that is very relaxing. I add this to my bathwater at night, add a good book and a cup of tea and my husband has to come find me. Not only is it relaxing, but it leaves my skin feeling soft. After a long day of dealing with two toddlers, work, Arbonne, and errands, this is a definite pick me up.

RE9 For Men Exfoliating Wash
Alright gents, your turn! This is the RE9 Advanced for Men Exfoliating Wash. Now, if you believe the adds on TV that say "This scent will make you a lady's man" please turn and walk the other way. My experience with men's scents is that the more advertising it gets of young men attracting pretty girls, the less I like the smell of it. Honestly most of it gives me a headache. So when I smelled the grapefruity smell of this, I was relieved. It complemented my husband's natural scent in a very pleasant way. Not to say that it leaves him smelling fruity though, it's definitely something you'd have to smell for yourself to understand. He says it makes it MUCH easier for him to shave if he washes with this prior, and I can vouch that it helps lessen skin irritation!
The last thing I'm really dying to tell you about is the FC5 Shower Set Including the FC5 Invigorating Body Wash, Nourishing Daily Shampoo and Conditioner, and the Exfoliating Body Scrub. This set is amazing. If you're looking for good overall care, this is what I'd recommend. I use it myself, and it leaves my hair and skin looking and feeling great! I'm going to let you all in on my BEST shaving tip this leaves my legs feeling glass smooth, without the dry/scaly look that most other methods leave me with. First I start out with the Invigorating Body Wash as shave cream, and then after, I buff them with the Exfoliating Scrub, and pat dry with a towel after. I actually have used my legs as a sales pitch, and I gotta tell you no one has ever said less than "Wow" after checking them out.

Alright, now that I have essentially turned my blog into an advertisement, I'm gonna take a break! If I'm not back on tonight for the Freebie blog, I'll definitely get it done tomorrow! Hope everyone is doing great!
